SEASONS: In Yaruman there are two main seasons, the wet and the dry. (Some local people view the seasons according to the food that is available and in that case there are many more seasons.) The wet is from around November to May and the dry from June to October. Much flora and fauna is available during the wet and into the early dry.
The people burn off the excess growth early so that there will not be unmanagable bushfires, and so that more flora will grow.
