Bush Trips:

During the year the children and adults go on bush trips. They use this time to learn more about their culture and their country.

 

 They learn to get the right wood to make fires.

 They have great fun in the water swimming and fishing.
 
 

 They enjoy each other's company and learn how to entertain themselves.
 They learn to swim.  
   They teach the younger ones how to swim and enjoy the bush.
 They cool down in the heat!  
 

 Sometimes they camp out overnight and enjoy stories around the campfire.

They gets lots of bushtucker while they are out bush.

They might catch birds, goannas, fish, 
 

 or set out to get the nativebush tucker that is in season, like

 

buura

 

jurnda

 

and yumali.
